Melissa Tejeda, LPC
About me
When we face emotional distress, it is common for us to feel hopeless and "stuck". My passion is helping people break free from emotional anguish -- such as depression, anxiety, and past trauma -- to find peace, wellness, and the ability to move forward in life.
In a nonjudgmental environment, I help my clients develop effective coping skills and healthy perceptions of themselves. In addition to three years in private practice, my background includes 10 years working with children, teens, and their families as a School Counselor. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma.
